We are having a cookout right after the meeting and then something for the ones who work that afternoon. To all visitors and club members, we had a sluice box taken from a car that belonged to Jim Strong and also a scoop from Jacks car. If we find out who did this, then they will be dealt with legally. All of us are more than willing to share and help others, so please don't remove something without asking permission. Claim #2, we will be placing a lock on the white gate, and the land fee members have the combination. Update: for now we can only access claim #2 on Sundays. More information will be given at the meeting. Please also remember to have your badges on at all times. Field Days of the Past: We can't express what a great weekend this was. We were busy but with all of our volunteers, we made it the best one yet. To see a child smile when they see their first piece of gold was priceless. We calculated that it took about 500 man hours. Buckingham Chamber of Commerce has a member who their business is call skynet. It is like med flight. She has offered to come and talk to us and explain the benefits of their business. Election of Officers: Nominations were taken and all current officers have agreed to serve another year. All members present made a motion and 2nd. No one opposed the nominations.
